The AI agent joins my call but doesn’t respond. I’m testing it using webhooks. I know that the real-time agent requires OpenAI credits, and I've already added them, but the issue is that no error message appears. Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

The agent is joining the call, so connectOpenAi() is likely working. My first suspicion is that you're creating the realtime client inside a webhook and then immediately returning: return NextResponse.json({ status: "ok" }); Once the webhook finishes, the realtime client/listeners may no longer stay alive, so the agent joins but never responds. Also check: Do you see connectOpenAi SUCCESS in logs? Do you see any response.created or transcription events? Is OPENAI_API_KEY actually loaded? Is gpt-4o-realtime-preview-2025-06-03 supported for your account? I'd add error logging around connectOpenAi() and verify whether any response events are being generated.
