26.04 why won't libreoffice start up

First I tried by sudo apt purge libreoffice followed by sudo apt install libreoffice Both said they succeeded, but...nothing seems to happen when I /usr/bin/libreoffice . Puzzling.

Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

Try installing the snap package instead. It should not have the configuration issues in the APT package. sudo apt remove libreoffice sudo snap install libreoffice
