How do I dynamically edit the html and CSS of a web site that is NOT mine...

I'm trying to make a script that highlights certain divs/creates new divs on chess.com, a widely used web site; this will be used to highlight moves that are suggested by an engine I will be making. I am really wondering how I'm supposed to get the web site to read a .js file from my personal computer. I am aware this is quite an open ended question, so I am expecting open ended answers.

Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

So from what I have found out is that the chess.com board is a SVG, or not really divs inside of the site. But the main thing is that the pieces are the things in the div. so what you could do is have the engine know the location of the divs, or pieces, and know what they are, so then it recommends pieces, and were to put them.
