Are there any disadvantages of Wizz Discount Club?

I can't find any sensible reason not to buy Wizz Discount Club, but they must make money somehow. Do you know why do they have it at all? I thought it auto-renews automatically next year, but no . Perhaps the discounts get much worse once you buy it, but the first return trip for 2 people with luggage already enough to pay for the membership + get some money back. Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

See Purchased a Wizzair flight+discount club. Flight was canceled. I want a refund for flight+club. Wizzair refuses. Should I dispute with credit card? : A person bought Discount Club for one specific flight, which subsequently got cancelled. Wizzair would only refund the flight, but not the Discount Club. So, when signing up for Discount Club for one flight only, one risks losing the membership fee in case the flight gets cancelled.
