Ollama run model failed with message "this model may be incompatible"

OS: Linux container of Docker Desktop 4.39.0 in Mac OSX 12.7 Ollama version: 0.0.0 Just downloaded model "Gemma3:latest" successfully: But can't run in the same bash terminal, got an error message like this (and can't be fixed by rerun "ollama pull" like the message said.):

Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

I suspect your Ollama version is before 0.6.0 ( you said 0.0.0 there ) gemma3 ( or any other model ) can be pulled regardless of what Ollama version you have, but only 0.6.0 and after can run the gemma3 line ( in all sizes ) And right now we are at 0.6.4 which has had several gemma3 -specific updates.
