I am confronted with a really strange behaviour of python (or scipy). The setup is as follows. I have written a class where the constructor prepares some interpolation tables and saves them as def __init__(self, ... some model parameter): xdata = np.logspace(-3, 3, 200) ... some heavy evaluation of ydata ... self.f_interp = interp1d(xdata, ydata) where xdata is a ndarray create with np.logspace.
