In my utility room I have 3 wires (pvc sheathed, twin and earth) running down from my ceiling into a 2 gang socket about chest height in the wall. Adjacent to this is a fused switch which links to an outside socket and (I think) is a spur from the 2 gang (though I can't see where it connects). I want to move the 2 gang to nearer ground level, but I need to extend the wires as they won't reach far enough. Is it safe/compliant to connect these 3...
