The movie is set in three primary locations; Malaysia (for the opening scene), Utah (for the first half of the movie) and NYC (For the second half of the movie). When the film opens, we find Yelena has been tasked with breaking into an O.X.E. lab in Kuala Lumpur in order to locate and destroy information about something called Project Sentry, apparently the latest in a long tradition of super soldier initiatives whose primary output is super big piles of corpses . Unable to access the lab, and lacking any specific personal interest in learning more about the project, she settles for blowing up the entire floor.
