I think the problem is that the keyboard is shown under the "USB / Apple T2 Bus" tree in the System Information / Hardware / USB section, which is the secure enclave co-processor, if I'm not mistaken. This thread suggests that usbhid(4) has to be enabled in FreeBSD 13.1, 13.2 and likely the rest of the 13 series. On, FreeBSD 13.2, it can be enabled through Thread howto-enabling-multimedia-keys-gamepads-joysticks-for-desktop-usbhid.84464 , but will likely be lacking that newer specific driver.
