Does the Hua Hin airport have any international flights? No. In fact the only flight that is currently in service in Hua Hin as is an Thai AirAsia flight from/to Chiang Mai that operates 4 times/week. I doubt that routing through Chiang Mai would make make this easier avoid chaos of transit in Bangkok I had very good experience with taking a VIP bus from BKK to Hua Hin. The bus leaves every 60-90 minutes, you can buy a ticket downstairs in the airport, it's inexpensive and the ride was pleasant and comfortable. "VIP" in this context means wide seats (3 per row) and fairly large recline. Great for taking a snoozer after a long international flight. Another option is a private car, which runs...
