How to add a weight-based extra charge to Shopify shipping rates?

Add charge to shipping rate based on weight in Shopify I want to add an extra charge to the shipping rate based on cart weight. If the total cart weight exceeds 1 kg, I want to add an additional 20 tk for every extra kilogram. How can I implement this in Shopify?

Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

I'm not sure you can with Shopify native shipping setup, you may have to look at an app from the store. I know Intuitive Shipping gives you quite a bit of flexibility but you'll have to test some out, reach out to the app developers for advice as well.
