According to the creator of the video (in a pinned comment ), he says that he was referring to this; If you are wondering about the subversive edge of the original Star Wars, George Lucas has said repeatedly that he intended the Rebel Alliance to represent the Viet Cong. 😲 Presumably he's referencing this interview with Lucas, or something similar.
