I use an application called "Übersicht" that allows for custom widgets on Mac desktops. It just uses JavaScript. I came up with the idea to have a little photo/video in the corner of my desktop. I looked at some pre-existing code for this. The code for the photo worked fine. The code for the video worked too, but I wanted the ability to pause it by clicking.
