What are the major factors that lead to different release dates worldwide for a movie? E.g. the release dates of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained : 25th Dec, 2012 in the US, 18th Jan, 2013 in UK, as late as 10th April, 2013 in Phillipines. I am basically interested in Hollywood movies, but references to other foreign films too would be appreciated.
