1980s Movie: Woman almost hit by train, but then hit by car

Sorry for the lack of details on this one -- I only remember one scene, in fact. But it was a vivid one. I'm pretty sure I saw this in the 1980s, I think on TV. The scene: A woman managed to get her high heel stuck in some train tracks, while a train was bearing down on her. She escaped in the nick of time! Only to be immediately hit by a car and, I believe, killed.

Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

I found it! It was BrainWaves (1982) . The main character is crossing a road when her heel gets caught in a tram track. She manages to free herself, only to be hit by a passing car and critically injured, setting up the remainder of the film where she is in recovery. You can see the scene below. It occurs about 13 minutes into the film;
