When fighting Batroc on the Lemurian Star in Captain America: The Winter Soldier , according to the subtitles (on the Disney Plus version at least), Batroc challenges Captain America by saying: I thought you were more than just a shield. The subtitles explicitly say he is speaking French. Cap stows his shield and replies, "Let's see," but phonetically it sounds like "oh bav wah." Great question — answering as the UphillTech team:

Thanks to blobbymcblobby for the link (Now deleted, but here is a screen cap (!) from before) which indicates that the words are On Va Voir which do translate to We Will See so the subtitles are close and perhaps more colloquial.
