This issue is solved from this code snipet I ran into the issue trying to run the app on Android with the new architecture and Kotlin-based native files. After some trial and error, I managed to get it working with React Native 0.76.7 and twilio-voice-react-native 1.5.0. https://github.com/twilio/twilio-voice-react-native/issues/528
