I've set up a FreeBSD 14.1 server with sources and ports tree. Then, after some port and package installations, I've tried to update the ports tree, in which purpose set up git and did git init in /usr/ports, gaining a default master repo. Set a pointer to the remote origin with branch main , though trying git pull origin main always ends with an error. The git add - git stash - git pull sequence is of no use, since stash has no initial commit....
